I live in a pretty safe area a...Sheesh! Bad luck!<br /><br />I live in a pretty safe area and have never had a break in. But I'm still paranoid and keep my family heirloom pieces inside a candle. Yeah, a big fat 3 wick pillar candle. I flipped it upside down, dug out enough room for a small bag of jewelry and I doubt very much any thief with limited time would dream of flipping a candle over. <br /><br />You have to get creative. Oh and I always keep a few hundred "emergency" dollars in the house. They're rolled up inside of a broken flashlight.<br /><br />Smash and grab thieves look for obvious places.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
